Ron Forbes, BS,CSCS, Sports Performance Specialist, IAP Team Leader
Ron is a Florida native and a graduate of the University of Florida’s College of Health & Human Performance, where he earned his degree in Exercise and Sports Science. He has 14 years of experience working at the Division 1 collegiate level with two programs that have consistently ranked among the top 5 most successful overall athletics programs in the nation. Ron served as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach with the University of Florida for 7 years. While at the University of Florida, he worked directly with football (5 SEC championships & 1 national championship), women’s soccer (4 SEC championships & 1 national championship), and men’s tennis (1 SEC championship). In 2002 Ron was named the Director of Sports Performance at Stanford University, where he oversaw the strength and conditioning programs for thirty-five Division I Collegiate teams. While at Stanford, Ron worked with more national & conference champions, Olympians, Olympic medalists, world record holders, and world champions at the collegiate level than anyone in the nation.
